The following is a testimonial from an employee of Frank Fletcher Subaru, that experienced what it's like to walk in the Humane Society and immediately form a connection with a rescue animal. We have donated over 500 blankets for rescue animals, as well as a $3,100 cash donation this year. Sharing the Love with the Joplin Humane Society - CHET Cįrank Fletcher Subaru has sponsored the Joplin Humane Society for five consecutive years. I don’t wish anyone to have a loved one in the hospital but should it happen, the RMH is ready for you just like they were ready for us to give you extra support at an unexpected, uncertain time." In their own special way they supported us so we could support our baby. They didn’t ask too many questions, instead they made sure to be there to lighten the load by providing a safe place and space that’s a lot like home. We met an organization that was prepared to walk with us when things were uncertain. We had gained a new family in people we would have never met had it not been for our circumstance. Our journey at the RMH was about 120 days in total, at two different chapters. We had everything we needed from clean rooms, food, rides to and from the hospital if needed etc. It was almost like they had anticipated us being there because of how prepared they were. These people, who were strangers to us at the time welcomed us with open arms. We received no hesitation from them when the request was put in to board with them. I had become familiar with RMH through the “Subaru Share the Love event” that happens every year working as a sales associate for Frank Fletcher Subaru. It was during this time that a few people brought up the Ronald McDonald House and how it would be a good option for us. Like any parent I wanted to be near my daughter, I wanted to see her as much as possible and as often as I wanted so getting discharged from the hospital was not easy for me. Its not what I wanted but I understood that the NICU was the best place for her. She had to stay, and I would have to be visiting her until the day she would get discharged. In my perfect world I would have my healthy baby at 40 weeks and we would get discharged together, but no, this was not the case. She was perfect, but one thing was very clear, we had a long road ahead of us and we needed to fight along with her. A few days later we welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world weighing 1 pound 11 ounces. This was not the way things were supposed to go, but unfortunately there I was rushing to the hospital at 25 weeks pregnant. "It was a hot summer day I had just gotten off the phone, made a tentative appointment with a customer who wanted to come check out a new Subaru when suddenly my water broke. The following is a testimonial from Ann Onyango, a Sales Professional at Frank Fletcher Subaru. Ronald McDonald House has answered the call and made life a little easier for many families during some of the most trying times in their life. This is a very important cause to us, as some of our own have experienced what it's like to feel lost, and without help. Frank Fletcher Subaru is once again pleased to say that we were able to donate to our local Ronald McDonald House! This year we were able to bring our total donation to over $120,000!
